I enjoyed the day trip to The Banker’s Club in Cincinnati and also to the Krohn Conservatory on May 26. The last time I’ve been to Krohn’s was probably over 20 years ago. The food at the Banker’s Club was as outstanding as the view of the surrounding area, including the river, Red’s Stadium and the Union Station Museum.
Many would say the Bread Pudding is "to die for”. I wouldn’t go that far, but it was very good. The chef was kind enough to share the recipe with us. See the newsletter for July to get your copy! Of course, the time of fellowship and hanging out together over a good meal made this event even better.
The visit to Krohn’s started with a time in the building with many beautiful and unusual butterflies from India.
This is what I would call a really unique butterfly!
You cannot go to the conservatory without seeing the plant life. Many of the flowers were really fun to photograph.
Jerry is fun to photograph but I was actually concentrating on the unique and beautiful bonsai tree.
What a color combination this flower combo represents!
