Wednesday, September 28 the group toured the Lancaster area and shopped a little, then saw the Sampson Show at the Sight and Sound Millennium Theatre. As Greg Poe reported, he literally "brought the house down!"
In addition to the show, the group toured the area and saw some of the Amish country and sampled their food.
In Greg Poe's words, "Food everywhere....the Amish are very gracious and faithful to food provision! Praise God, NO "casualties" to report, only temporary gluttony, did I mention the food???"
Greg is having a serious discussion with Ben Swogger!
And it appears that Betsy is giving Lou a bit of advice as Madlyn and Ruth look on!
In Greg Poe's words, "Food everywhere....the Amish are very gracious and faithful to food provision! Praise God, NO "casualties" to report, only temporary gluttony, did I mention the food???"
"Our bus driver, Melanie, has kept us in stitches, so funny and
doesn't allow anyone on the road to intimidate her!" (I don't know if she's reading a map or menu, in the photo below)
"We had a Q and A session on the bus this morning directed at Lisa
and me... that was fun!"
"About to begin a somewhat rainy tour of the Landis Valley. After
that? Well, a smorgasbord!!!"
