Our luncheon program started with nice prelude piano music
by Judy Comer. This is the first time that we've used Judy but I promise to ask her again. Thank you Judy for the nice background music as we visited.
Following our acknowledgements and announcements, we enjoyed
some more great music by a ladies’ trio from Washington Heights Church. This trio consisted of Grace Averitt,
Nancy Jensen and Annie Orme.
They sang two numbers; "Lord You are My Everything" and "We are So Blessed". What a great way to introduce our Thanksgiving program
and Luncheon. You can see a couple of incomplete video clips below or listen to
the music in much better sound HERE. It's my fault for the poor-quality sound of the videos. I was using a new phone and apparently
covered one of the microphones, I also erred in starting the first one and
inadvertently clicked the stop button during the second one. Don’t waste time
searching for the errors but listen to the audio file for a better listening
experience.

Following the music, we introduced our Lead Pastor, David
Kisner. Dave is my boss and preaches and teaches in our Sunday Morning
Services. He has been in our pulpit now for over 20 years and we love him. Today, he spoke on a topic of particular interest to those of us who are senior citizens. This was informative and I found it helpful and interesting. You can listen to his talk HERE.

As always, our kitchen volunteers and Lisa prepared an
outstanding Thanksgiving meal. I think this one is worthy of a place in one of
our future newsletters. It would be a great way to make good use of Thanksgiving Dinner leftovers.
Next month, be sure to join us for another terrific musical performance, as we celebrate Christmas with the Carillon Brass. You won't find a better brass musical group in our area. All five of these men are performers with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. They will also be performing downtown at the Victoria Theatre Loft; but you can avoid the crowded conditions of the theater and parking issues by hearing them here. So, JOIN US DECEMBER 13 at 11AM.
